Istanbul Chamber of Industry founded in 1952 is the largest chamber of Türkiye with its number of members exceeding 23 thousand in 2023 and the strongest representative of the Turkish industry, accounting for 36% of the value-added production, 33% of total production, %29 of total employment within Turkish industry, and more than 18% of total export of Türkiye.
As a non-profit organization, Istanbul Chamber of Industry acts as a bridge between industry and government by contributing to the legislation process and providing feedback on draft decrees and regulations on behalf of the industry.
